Forsyth Galleries
The Forsyth Galleries is the second major art museum on the Texas A&M University campus located on the 2nd floor of the MSC and is overseen by the University Art Galleries. It showcases an important collection of late 19th and early 20th century glass and American paintings. The bulk of the collection was a gift from Bill (’35) and Irma Runyon, who collected art glass as well as American western and impressionist paintings. Highlights include works by Mary Cassatt, Frederic Remington, and Winslow Homer. The James R. Reynolds Student Art Gallery is nearby in Room 2241 of the MSC. Admission is free to all TAMU galleries.
Parking: The gallery is equi-distant from the Gene Stallings Garage and the University Center Garage. Note that there is essentially no free parking on campus and the rules are strictly enforced.
