From the contemporary Wyndham Garden College Station, you can easily visit all the sites in Bryan-College Station. Visit their on-site restaurant and bar, fitness center, and pool. Their lobby showcases the art of the Visual Art Society of Bryan-College Station.

The Art of War is located in the historic Parker Lumber building, built circa 1880 and on the National Register of Historic Places. The multi-room bar offers the choice to relax in several rooms, even a 108-year-old vault. This purveyor of fine sake, craft cocktails and food, is also the venue for the Bryan Contemporary Artists, formed in 2018 to bring more modern art to the Bryan art community. Artists in this group exhibit a wide range of works in all mediums with imagery including figurative, abstract, narrative and surreal. The art changes monthly.
Gate 12 Bar & Grill is a full-service steakhouse with BBQ, a few pasta dishes, seafood, and chicken plates, and a full bar. Enjoy the food and the wall-sized mural while you watch the airport traffic and an Aggie sunset. The mural and other art were painted by Cherry Vollert.
Gogh Gogh Coffee Co. is a local coffee shop that is dedicated to bringing craft coffee, tasty pastries, and good times to BCS! The murals by J. Vincent Scarpace are an homage to artist, Vincent Van Gogh.
Mad Taco is not an ordinary “taco shop.” They use quality ingredients, crafted recipes with sound cooking principles and foundational flavor marriages with fresh ingredients for their unique tacos and margaritas. Their wall art painted by muralist, Sarah Blackmon, is worth the visit.
The Perrine Winery offers an intimate and friendly atmosphere surrounded by local art from the Visual Art Society members. Their variety of award-winning wines range from robust reds and crisp whites, refreshing fruit-infused wines, to bubbly wines on tap, which can be enjoyed over a nice meat and cheese plate. They are located in the Aggieland Micro District, also home to the Rio Brazos Distillery and the New Republic Brewing Co.
What started as a small café & art gallery in November 2008 has morphed into a full-on force for the arts community of downtown Bryan. They have fiercely promoted and advocated for “all things local” – art, music, food, and, of course, the people.
