Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets Association

The Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets Association has a new headquarters, the Clay Family Building and Boot Loan Annex, affectionately known as the “Boot Barn.” The facility is anchored by a monumental mural painted and donated by renowned Aggie artist Benjamin Knox ’90. Visible from S. College Ave. at the rear of the parking lot, the artwork depicts the historic Boot Line, where senior cadets stand on the football field wearing their iconic Senior Boots. The mural highlights the annex’s vital mission: housing over 1,000 pairs of donated heirloom boots lent at no cost to rising seniors facing financial hardship or delayed custom orders.
